  • Keep the zoning light Industrial, we already have a Heavy Industrial area 12 miles north in Romoland with a power plant.

  • The property is in airport safety zones B-2 and D which makes the physical construction, and thermal plume turbulence of 750 degrees and 1,084 ft per minute a flight hazard.

  • Emissions include nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane, and mercury compounds exhausted into the air.

  • Industrial polluting, foul odors, noise pollution, incompatible development to the area, residences and schools in the plume path, and the potential for accidents makes this a terrible location for a power plant.

  • Home values will decrease as French Valley will be a less desirable place to raise a family.
